For the Key Bank project, the existing shingles were stripped down to the plywood substrate, and GAF HDZ shingles were installed. Ice and water shield was applied along all leading edges, around penetrations, valleys, and sidewalls, as well as throughout the entire field of the roof. New metal was installed around the perimeter, with starter shingles added where necessary. Architectural shingles (color TBD) were hand-sealed, and ridge caps and ridge vents were installed to ensure proper ventilation and long-term performance.
